Busck supports UNHCR in Ukraine
We support UNHCR to ensure that families from Ukraine forced to flee their homes are sheltered and safe. An escalation of the conflict in February 2022 has turned an already volatile situation into a full-scale emergency. People are fleeing their homes to try to find safety elsewhere within the country and are crossing borders into neighbouring countries. The situation remains extremely dangerous for anyone inside Ukraine and the vulnerability of those forced to flee is increasing rapidly, with more in need of immediate support.
To get more information about UNHCR and their work in Ukraine, visit https://www.unhcr.org/ukraine-emergency.html

Visit our head office and warehouse
Join us for a visit to our head office and warehouse in Kållered. Here we stock electric motors up to and including 630 kW, frequency converters up to 315 kW and gears in different sizes, variants and designs.
Customized electric motors
Right now production of 2 1.5 MW 2-pole B3 electric motor to be delivered to customer in June. The electric motor is water-cooled and has, among other things, a separate hydraulic lubrication unit.
We introduce shipping and material price surcharges
Due to sky-high freight prices from China and very high raw material prices, especially for copper and electroplate, we are forced to introduce a freight and material price surcharge on Busck electric motors.
Are you aware of the new efficiency requirements?
Due to the fact that the European Commission has decided on updates to efficiency requirements for electric motors, we want to inform you about what the changes will mean.
The updates will be implemented in two steps. The first on 2021-07-01 and the second on 2023-07-01. For Busck, step 1 means that Busck 3-phase motors 0.12-0.74kW and brake motors will have a new aluminum frame, the TA series, instead of the old MS series. Motors for short-term operation and 2-speed motors will continue to be the MS series. Step 2 means that the 1-phase motors will also be delivered in the TA series.
We welcome our new colleague Johan!
Johan Plantin started over 30 years ago in ABB’s motor factory. For the past 27 years, he has been engaged in the sale of motors and frequency converters, in several customer segments. His great ambitions and previous experiences fit perfectly with our existing team. In his spare time, it is motorhomes and motorcycles that occupy his time.
Johan makes his first day at Busck on February 3, 2021. He will be responsible for Central Sweden and have a location in Västerås. If you want to say hello to our new colleague in person, you will find his contact information under Associates.
Say hello to our new colleague Ronnie!
In 2000, Ronnie Nilsson started as an industrial technician in Smålandsstenar. Since then, he has worked as a service and automation engineer and with technical sales. He possesses a broad application knowledge and puts the customer’s needs first. Privately, he likes to do beer brewing and he likes diving and cold baths.
With his previous experience as an electrical designer and a background from e.g. Danfoss will be Ronnie a long-awaited addition for us. Ronnie will start after the turn of the year 20/21 and will start from Halmstad.

Busck supports SOS Children’s Villages 2019
This year, we donate a Christmas gift to SOS Children’s Villages, whose goal is that not a single child should grow up alone. They have worked for over 70 years to ensure that all children grow up in safety. Where families are not forced to split up. Together we secure children’s present and future.
The world is facing major challenges, which are driving even more people into poverty. From structural problems to climate change and conflicts. Many families are torn apart by desperation and the children – the already most vulnerable – are left completely alone. Without love. Without security. Without respect.
Children who are left alone often end up in trafficking, crime, abuse or forced to work. Children who otherwise could have grown up to be strong and independent adults instead end up in a spiral of vulnerability that is almost impossible to break.
